BITS2BYTES ADOPT-A-SCHOOL CAMPAIGN
Bits2Bytes Adopt-A-School Campaign for Individuals and Corporate Donors
Our Adopt-A-School Program provides your company or organization the opportunity to brand your company name and logo while supporting schools in developing countries. The best part of the Adopt-A-School Program is that Bits2Bytes does all the work, while your company gets all the positive recognition. It has never been so easy for your business to sponsor a good cause.
Perhaps circumstances may not allow you to donate equipment today. Your company can still select a school of choice from our pre-identified schools that have qualified for a Campus Network. You can then sponsor the activities involved in getting a network procured and deployed.
The Adopt-A-School program allows your company to directly impact the school you have chosen by expanding the students’ education, curiosity and worldview through your donation. Your donation will enable Bits2Bytes, Inc., to purchase equipment and deploy a solution that will allow students to use technology in a meaningful, life-expanding way. You may choose the school you would like to adopt and see the results of your donation starting from the initial stages onward. You will see the benefits of this technology through communication from faculty and students alike and the life-changing growth that can occur when students have access to technology. Please be a part of this exciting frontier connecting students to technology through your organizations personal involvement.
BIG BROTHER/BIG SISTER CAMPAIGN
Bits2Bytes Big Brother/Big Sister Campaign for K-12 or Higher Ed Donors
Instead of trade-ins or buy-back programs that typically value your used equipment at pennies per dollar originally paid, consider how your donation to a small brother/small sister institution would enhance the lives of the community it serves. The Bits2Bytes Big Brother/Big Sister Program provides K-12 school districts and universities the opportunity to make an impact on the educational quality of schools in developing countries, through the donation of network equipment that is no longer in need. You can help bridge the digital divide, and enhance the learning experience of these students all the while reducing e-waste by extending the useful life cycle of your equipment.
Even more exciting - imagine the sociological benefits that this initiative can bring to our students here in the United States. As we grow more connected with every new network donated, our students can form new relationships with other students across the globe allowing them to freely exchange ideas and cultural experiences with each other. In tandem with building new and lasting friendships we also help broaden the minds of our students as they become exposed to life from a perspective that is much different than theirs.
If you feel so moved to become a part of a movement that makes our world more connected, please view our current list of schools in target areas that are in need, and consider supporting their development through your donation.
We accept all networking and computing devices irrespective of whether they are in proper working condition or not. Support us and make a difference in your local community through a progressive approach to handling your e-waste.
GENERAL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Volunteer On-Ground or at Local US Staging Centers
If you can sponsor your own travel and can help with deploying computer network elements, Bits2bytes can surely use your help in implementing these technologies wherever the journey takes us. Or join us locally at our staging facilities to sort through the donated equipment received. Are you interested in learning about computer networks? While volunteering your time, you will meet our networking guru who is willing to teach volunteers who want to learn more about technology.
Volunteer Your Professional Talent
We are looking for volunteers willing to leverage their professional talents to advance our cause. In particular, is a need for volunteers with experience in legal matters, marketing, fund raising, finance, grant writing or more.
