Bits2Bytes provides pervasive Internet technologies to students of developing countries in the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia and Africa. These technologies are rapidly becoming a vital necessity to our global community. People who do not have the ability or the advantage to use or learn about these technologies will get left behind, economically and technologically. After we design, build and implement these Internet technologies the possibilities and opportunities that now become available are endless.

Meet the Team
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Tola Odunuga is a dual Cisco Certified Inter-networking Expert (CCIE 5801) in Routing and Switch and 1st Voice CCIE in the World. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master’s degree (MS) in Data Communication Systems from Brunel University Uxbridge, United Kingdom. Tola Odunuga has over 20 years experience in IT and telecommunications. Ten of those years were spent with Cisco Systems. Tola Odunuga was a key contributor at the early stages of Cisco’s Advanced Services World Wide Voice Practices program. Tola Odunuga has held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Unified Communications and Cisco Practice Director for Cisco Value Added Resellers in the Americas market. His technical and industry skills coupled with his multi-cultural exposure have uniquely positioned him to lead and offer creative solutions to our recipients, both national and around the world. Over the course of his career, he has led the Pre-sales, Design and Implementation teams for various fortune 500 companies, unified school districts and universities in the USA.
Chief Operating Officer
James S. John is a ten-year professional in the Information Technology Industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has a passion for entrepreneurship and community service. Throughout his career he has provided pre-sales consultations to a wide spectrum of organizations in both the private and public sectors in the states of Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. He is well-versed in data center network design and campus architecture designs for wired, wireless and unified communications networks. James holds professional certifications with two of the largest networking vendors (Cisco Systems Design Professional, Cisco Systems Network Professional, and Juniper Networks Certification Internet Specialist) and has demonstrated continuous success in building and maintaining key relationships with the clients he supports. From the age of 16, James has participated in a number of volunteer activities that focus specifically on children in underserved communities. Some of these activities include visiting youths in juvenile justice centers and creating sport programs in local churches to help keep kids off the streets.
